Applications for tenancy lawyers
A dispute about an unrepaid deposit has a different scope from proceedings concerning termination of a tenancy. The general tenancy law selection is therefore the start of the assessment. After contact, your firm determines which tenancy regime and route apply to the situation.

What the intake records
The application contains the topic, the desired next step and the stated case file scope. The general profile is not a determination that the Rent Tribunal or court has jurisdiction. Whether the visitor is a tenant or landlord and whether residential or commercial premises are rented also requires confirmation in your own intake.
Documents for your own intake
This is a checklist for building your own file after contact, not a list of documents that the platform has already received or checked.
- Tenancy agreement and any supplementary arrangements.
- Letters concerning defects, termination, rent or service charges.
- Handover reports, payment details or photographs to the extent necessary.
What your firm assesses itself
Distinguish between a defined assessment, correspondence with the other party and litigation assistance. Verify the facts and relevant dates after contact. A report of a defect is not yet a complete evidentiary file, and a stated amount of damages does not determine our introduction price.
Scope and urgent situations
In the event of a threatened eviction or another deadline within two business days, immediate assistance is needed. The referral route is not intended for that. Missing information about the requested work must be clarified before offering.
Can I work only for tenants or only for landlords?
You decide which engagements you accept. Firm preferences do not include a guaranteed separate tenant or landlord filter. Therefore, check the available profile and assess your position and any conflicts of interest once the necessary information has been released.
