Fees for lawyers: cost per introduction
Registration is free, with no subscription or minimum purchase. When making a purchase, the firm pays a fixed fee shown in advance. That fee is separate from your own fee and is not a percentage of the proceeds of the case.
| Category | Excluding VAT | 21% VAT | Including VAT |
|---|---|---|---|
| Defined review or advice | € 25,00 | € 5,25 | € 30,25 |
| Negotiation or more extensive advice | € 49,00 | € 10,29 | € 59,29 |
| Proceedings or an extensive file | € 99,00 | € 20,79 | € 119,79 |
| Extensive proceedings or a complex dispute | € 199,00 | € 41,79 | € 240,79 |
How the category is determined
The classification uses the requested service, stage, document volume, parties involved and complexity. A defined review or advice with a maximum of three documents falls within the lowest category. Negotiation or four to ten documents leads to the middle category. Proceedings or more than ten documents lead to the category for more extensive work.
Proceedings involving an appeal, more than two parties, or multiple related or cross-border disputes may fall in the highest category. That category is always confirmed separately. Unknown information does not result in a price that can automatically be purchased.
When assessment is needed first
Requests outside the standardised areas of law, unclear work, complex circumstances and funding other than self-payment are assessed first. The principal amount, property value or expected compensation is not an automatic basis for pricing. Nor is the classification a prediction of your hours or revenue.
Calculation examples for the same type of request for help
A settlement agreement review with two documents and no particular complexity may cost €25 excluding VAT. If negotiation is requested, the same type of matter may cost €49 excluding VAT. Proceedings may cost €99; complex proceedings may cost €199 after assessment. These are examples of the classification rules, not requests being offered.
Prior approval, then invoice and payment instructions
The visitor chooses the firm and gives consent. Your firm sees the applicable category, fee and VAT and then expressly confirms the purchase with a payment obligation. The price is fixed for that purchase. You then receive an invoice with payment instructions. The full request is released only after confirmed payment.
The invoice and your own fee
The invoice states the introduction category and a technical reference, without the client's name or case content. You agree your legal fees directly with the client. The visitor pays Juridisch Antwoord no introduction fees. An introduction does not oblige the visitor to instruct you.
What if a request is incorrect?
The participation terms describe reporting and assessing discrepancies. A correction or credit is assessed on a case-by-case basis. A low return, no response or no assignment does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Also assess participation yourself in light of your independence and professional rules.
