Applications for employment lawyers
An employee who wants a settlement agreement reviewed is seeking something different from an employer who is looking for assistance with ongoing proceedings. For your employment law practice, the requested work and the stage of the dispute are therefore more important than the employment law label alone.
Examples of help requests
- Review of an offered settlement agreement.
- Advice on wages, employment conditions or an employment dispute.
- Negotiations on termination of an employment relationship.
What the intake records
The visitor selects a topic and describes the assistance sought. For this category, they indicate whether it concerns review, advice, negotiation or litigation and how many documents there are. The intake does not yet make any determination regarding grounds for dismissal, benefit entitlements or the prospects of a claim.
Documents for your own intake
This is a checklist for building your own file after contact, not a list of documents that the platform has already received or checked.
- Employment contract and relevant addenda.
- The offered agreement or correspondence about the dispute.
- Payslips or an overview of disputed payments, if relevant.
What your firm assesses itself
After the introduction, your firm determines, among other things, for which party you act, which arrangements apply and which deadlines require attention. A brief review may turn out to be a negotiation engagement during the first meeting. Agree any such extension directly with the client.
Scope and urgent situations
An approaching signing or procedural date requires immediate assessment. A deadline within two business days falls outside this referral route. A settlement agreement is not automatically a €25 application: negotiation or a larger case file may lead to a different category.
Will my firm receive only settlement agreement applications?
No. Employment law also includes wages and other employment disputes. The general profile displays the topic. Only choose to accept if the profile and requested assistance fit your practice; a separate settlement agreement filter is not promised.
Costs and terms
Your firm sees the category price in advance. Registration is free. An introduction is not an instruction and provides no revenue guarantee.
