When does this calculation apply?
A result does not by itself establish entitlement. Check the conditions, your documents and any different agreements. Seek timely legal help if a deadline is running.
The annual statement is due before 1 July for the previous year. Request a missing statement in writing, or specify disputed costs in writing. Allow the landlord three weeks to respond. The Rent Tribunal route depends on sector and contract date: for still-deregulated rentals from before 1 July 2024, written agreement by both parties is generally needed and the result is advisory. Have the sector and procedure checked if uncertain.
