A calculation does not establish that the debt or fees are valid. Check the original invoice, payments and demand separately. Request a breakdown into principal, interest and collection costs. Extra reminder or administration charges cannot be added on top of collection costs. Dispute specific errors in writing and retain evidence; do not ignore the letter.
