Start with a budget coach
Budget coaching is free for Zaltbommel residents. You can start here if you have lost track of your finances or cannot pay a single bill. The shared service with Maasdriel uses 0418 63 88 88, Monday–Friday 9–16:30, and budgetcoaching@maasdriel.nl; that Maasdriel email also serves Zaltbommel. List your income, regular expenses and unpaid bills. The coach discusses your needs and may refer you elsewhere. This does not automatically mean managed finances, court-appointed financial administration or a debt arrangement.

Can you no longer resolve your debts yourself? Zaltbommel refers you to municipal debt advisers on 0418 63 88 88 or shv@maasdriel.nl. Help is free; a meeting explores a plan, such as budget advice or help arranging payments with creditors. Have letters and amounts ready. If you receive a letter about eviction or disconnection of energy or water, contact them as soon as possible and clearly describe the crisis. Making contact does not automatically stop eviction or disconnection or guarantee an arrangement.
