If you struggle with regular bills or debts, call VraagR on working days from 09:00 to 12:00: 0165 349 990. Municipal debt advice and assistance are free. Rucphen also has the Vroeg Erop Af team, which may contact residents after payment signals; you choose whether to accept the offered help. Do not wait for such contact if you have money worries. Have arrears and urgent letters ready; a conversation does not guarantee payment deferral.

Unable to pay a municipal tax assessment? Rucphen refers tax remission information and applications to Belastingsamenwerking West-Brabant (BWB), which handles its municipal tax work. Follow the BWB link on this municipal page and check current conditions there. Have the assessment and financial details ready. Low income alone does not guarantee remission; speaking to VraagR is not the same as applying to BWB.
