Oss: Requesting debt help or choosing BB-Oss
Which local route fits your question?
Local sources checked:
Debt help — request a meeting online or by phone
Oss offers free help with unpaid bills and debts. Request a meeting using the form linked from the municipal source page or call 14 0412; immediately explain if your situation is urgent. Gather information on income, regular expenses, arrears and earlier agreements. The municipality describes intake, stabilisation, debt settlement and aftercare, but not everyone needs every stage. Discuss which help is appropriate now. Requesting a meeting is not creditor agreement and does not automatically stop an announced enforcement measure.

BB-Oss provides municipal budget support and management: free and voluntary, but with commitments. With your consent, income goes to the BB-Oss account; together you plan regular bills and an agreed amount for daily spending. You must cooperate and provide necessary financial documents. Ask through 14 0412 or the official registration route whether this suits you. Before agreeing, ask which income is managed, what spending money you receive and how you can return to managing it yourself. This is different from a debt settlement.

- Write down what happened, what you want to achieve and the date shown in your letter or contract.
- Have your contract, payment records and earlier correspondence ready. Share only what the appropriate adviser needs.
- Ask whether the organisation handles your problem, which languages are available and what fees or conditions apply.
