Meierijstad: Applying for debt help and Geld & Zo in Schijndel
Which local route fits your question?
Local sources checked:
Budget advice — application and urgent debts
The municipal money-help application is for residents aged 18 or over in Meierijstad, Bernheze and Boekel. Help may include budgeting advice, support or a debt arrangement; the municipality does not pay your debts. Gather income, assets, debts and existing-help information; follow the official application instructions for identification. Facing eviction or utility disconnection? Call 14 0413 on working days and explain the crisis. Applying guarantees neither an arrangement nor automatic suspension of an announced measure.

For a difficult letter, form, bill or benefits application, volunteers provide free help at Geld & Zo Schijndel. The municipal page lists ’t Spectrum, Steeg 9, with Tuesday and Thursday sessions by appointment. Book through Sociaal Werk Meierijstad on 073 544 14 00 or at the reception desk; check current times at the source. Bring the document and flag any deadline. Help with forms is not a municipal debt-help application or an awarded benefit.

- Write down what happened, what you want to achieve and the date shown in your letter or contract.
- Have your contract, payment records and earlier correspondence ready. Share only what the appropriate adviser needs.
- Ask whether the organisation handles your problem, which languages are available and what fees or conditions apply.
