Dongen: Help with living costs and the right route for a complaint or objection
Which local route fits your question?
Local sources checked:
Dongen — low income and financial help
The municipality brings together low-income schemes here, including special assistance, income supplements and Dongen Doet Mee. It also provides a separate route for help with financial worries, debts or administration. Choose the scheme or support that fits your question and open its own application page. Gather income details, fixed expenses and letters about debts or allowances. An overview or calculator is not an application and does not automatically create an entitlement to money.

Dongen distinguishes a complaint about service or treatment, an objection to a municipal decision, comments on a proposed decision and notice of default when a decision is overdue. Do not choose solely because the word complaint seems familiar. If you received a decision, read its legal-remedy information and note the stated deadline. Keep the decision, the date received and supporting evidence. The service-complaint form is not the objection form for a decision.

- Write down what happened, what you want to achieve and the date shown in your letter or contract.
- Have your contract, payment records and earlier correspondence ready. Share only what the appropriate adviser needs.
- Ask whether the organisation handles your problem, which languages are available and what fees or conditions apply.
