Apeldoorn: Reporting damage and choosing the right complaint route
Which local route fits your question?
Local sources checked:
Damage claim to the municipality
Think Apeldoorn is responsible for damage you suffered? Use the damage page, not just a public-space report. Describe what happened, where and when, and why you hold the municipality responsible; collect photos and a repair estimate. Do not know which contractor was involved? Say so. If the municipality identifies it, it can forward your report with your consent. Reporting does not establish liability or guarantee compensation.

Apeldoorn’s complaint procedure concerns how an employee or municipal officeholder treats you. If you cannot submit online, you can write to the complaints coordinator. Note the event, date and department involved. Disagree with a decision, for example about benefits? Use the objection route and follow the legal-remedies information in that decision. A broken streetlight or another public-space problem has a separate reporting route.

- Write down what happened, what you want to achieve and the date shown in your letter or contract.
- Have your contract, payment records and earlier correspondence ready. Share only what the appropriate adviser needs.
- Ask whether the organisation handles your problem, which languages are available and what fees or conditions apply.
