# Juridisch Antwoord

> Public first-step information about Dutch law and Dutch public authorities, with practical explanations, preparation checklists, calculators and draft letters. Juridisch Antwoord is part of Comitres, not a law firm or a government agency.

## When to use this site

Use the public guides when someone needs to understand a legal problem in the Netherlands, identify the relevant Dutch authority, prepare documents, understand a letter or decision, or find a practical next step. Topics include employment, tenancy, family matters, consumer problems, benefits, taxation and government procedures. The content is general information, not an individual legal assessment or a guarantee of entitlement, a deadline or an outcome. Each guide's conditions, exceptions, official sources and actual review date matter. Do not infer chatbot approval from a public article.

## How to read and cite

Start with the public question index, subject directories or sitemap, then retrieve the most relevant existing article. Cite its clean canonical URL and preserve qualifications. Public articles are server-rendered HTML. The homepage and its seven language variants also return a concise Markdown overview for Accept: text/markdown; HTML remains available with Accept: text/html. This does not imply Markdown support on every article. Missing public HTML pages return HTTP 404, including when requesting Markdown.

Reading public pages requires no account. This guide is not an API, MCP server or authorization to act on a visitor's behalf. Interactive chat, uploads, calculations, saved work and help requests have their own browser flows, conditions and consent. Do not submit applications, contact requests, personal documents or visitor information automatically. Official forms and portals linked from articles remain the route where required. Private accounts, school work, partner records and administrative pages are outside this public discovery surface. Never bypass authentication, consent or access controls.

## Structured public answers and browser preparation

- [Read-only answers JSON](https://juridisch-antwoord.nl/open/answers.json): GET, no account. Parameters: language (nl/en/de/pl/fr/tr/uk/ar), category (optional), offset (default 0), limit (1–50, default 20), id (optional). Follow nextOffset until null. Every item includes its question, exact public answer, scope, official sources, actual reviewedAt/reviewExpires, clean canonicalUrl and answerUrl. Only currently admitted public editorial answers are included; this is not the whole website and not a personal legal matching service. Expired or unavailable IDs return 404. Do not send personal facts or free-text queries to this endpoint. The HTML article remains the citation target.
- The income-tax preparation choice aid registers juridisch_tax_options, juridisch_tax_prepare and juridisch_tax_read_preparation when the open browser supports document.modelContext. Read available IDs and ask which situations apply before selecting. Tools use the same visible local selection and explanations; they do not file returns, log in, upload, save a dossier, contact anyone or decide entitlement. In unsupported browsers use the ordinary labelled controls. Actual browser support varies.
